Construction Machines In Land Development
Caterpillar:
That big boy Cat shown above can be a land developers best friend when rough grading unfriendly topography. With a ripper on the back of a dozer, an operator can do some serious additional damage to stumps and root balls as well.
A guys first truck:
Ok - let’s be straight up honest: How many of you guys started your dirt moving dreams by playing with a truck like the one shown above? There should be a lot of “yes” answers out there - at least from the guys telling the truth!
A guys future truck:
It’s always nice to graduate to this later on!
Backhoe:
It’s amazing what this machine can do when controlled by a skilled operator. Trenching, shaping, backfilling, pulling stumps when grubbing, stacking up burn piles - just to name a few of many capabilities.
Backhoe backwards:
Same machine, different configuration. Turn the bucket around and now you have a shovel.
Mini machines:
Don’t kid yourself. Dirt moving iron doesn’t have to be massive to do a ton of meaningful work, especially in tight places.
Not so mini loader:
… and then there’s always the bigger version!
Grader:
This smooth operator can put the final touch on roads and finish grades.
