How To Spend $500k on a Bridge!
… and it’s only a short span bridge:
I am the only guy I know that has ever built a bridge and some of you have asked me about it - so here it is. The photos I have selected are just a few of over 400 that were taken. The span over the creek was 38’, and the short span bridge I constructed cost about $500k from start to finish. It is a great example of how unexpected stuff can and does happen.
I had to remove the old bridge since it no longer complied with new seismic ratings that were put in place mid-project. Here is a partial photo path of that project. Have fun looking and be thankful it wasn’t you!
